Question 2006 Predictions

In a few days, we will be starting a new year. So...time to break out the crystal balls, what to you think 2006 will bring to the local HDTV scene, or even the national scene?

P.S.- Happy 2006!!

Here's mine: In 2006, TWC will add Universal HD, 1 HD religious channel, and 7 HD Shopping channels. Heck, who wouldn't want to see the Cubic Zirconia ear rings in HD before they buy them?

24-1 will go HD.

36-1 will improve their bit rate and/or picture quality.

18-1 and 24-1 will get picked up by TWC.

WITI and WISN will upgrade eq. and improve their crappy SD PQ.
Just don't know when it will happen - in 2006 or by 2010.

WISN will preempt the Fiesta Bowl to tell us it might . It's in the forecast.

Happy New Year.

Cool Happy 2006 and here's to much more HD channels (we can get)!

In 2006, more consumers will not only buy HDTV sets, but the industry as a whole will start getting them more educated as to how to get HDTV, not just buy the set .

Additionally, more and more HD channels will start appearing, especially on satellite.
