My Toshiba 56" DLP is no longer producing a picture consistently. When the picture is working, it's crystal clear. Otherwise, it's a blank screen with nothing on it, but the sound works, leading me to believe the issue is the ballast rather than something else. I also just replaced the bulb with a refurb from Solid State TV. However, after dropping $170 on the bulb, I don't have the cash or time to resolve the likely ballast issue at the moment.
