According to their "tests" it's only ~.5 seconds faster for channel changes. Still too slow IMO. I wonder if the DirecTV/Tivo box will be any better, IF it's still coming out. Maybe we'll find out tomorrow with Tivo's big announcement.

is that you will get whatever is on the installers truck.
At least with Dish HD, there is only one receiver, and that by far, exceeds anything "D" offers.

That's too damn bad, you would think that D* work on the quality of its picture so hard they would invest it better equipment. My HD box is driving me nuts!
