right now I have Directv with the AR21 over air box. I have a indoor radio antenna that is ok for some channels.. but when I switch I constantly need to adjust the antenna to get a better signal. What is the best HD UHF antenna I can to go in my garage attic. Should I get a amplifier with it? My budet is $150.

Thanks!

I have this antenna (http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103088) installed in my Dad's garage attic in West Allis and it seems to work fine.

I second the antenna recommended by Buy_The_Tie. That's the Radio Shack u75r UHF-only antenna. At $35, it's a pretty good deal. From New Berlin, it should be adequate enough to receive channel 10 (RF 8), even though it is designed for UHF.

That's the antenna I use. I'm down in Kenosha, and I can easily pick up all the main network channels with it. (4,6,10,12,18,24,58)
