A very disgruntled co-worker with D* is fed up with CBS-58. He sent an e-mail off to the station and this is the response:
Subject: RE: HDTV on 58
We broadcast an analog and digital signal over the air and have contracts with the cable companies for the redistribution of both of those signals.
The satellite companies have entered into contracts with us for our analog signal only. They do not have agreements in place with us that would allow them to carry our digital signal.
However, as our analog signal will be dropped next month and we will only be broadcasting digitally, a resolution of some sort should be forthcoming.
