WOW...just noticed this.

You would think TWC would make people aware of this, or at least have Timmy C. of the Journal announce it. Perhaps TWC stopped paying him?

MGMHD is a replacement from what I have read, for the MOJOHD channel ending very soon.

Its interesting to me that TWC gets MGM-HD and its on the free (non premium) tier (perhaps its part of their HD package, dunno), while U-verse puts this on the "HD Premium" tier, a new tier that costs $5 a month and has 2 channels (MGM-HD and Smithsonian HD)....

What gives??

It is on the Hd package which costs $6.95/month for 4 channels

D* does the same thing with these channels (MGM, Universal, etc). I think this is a deal forced by NBC Universal on the carriers. We just got CIHD, which is not too impressive thus far. Lots of Nash Bridges and other shows...
