NBC Sports announced that its coverage of the Triple Crown this year will be telecast in high definition television, or HDTV. Viewers who have HDTV systems will be able to enjoy movie-like quality as they root on their equine favorites.
NBC recently telecast the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City using the technology, but has used it for just a handful of NBA games.
So another big sporting event goes to HD. Only question for Sean - can we make sure the transmitters turned on early to carry this? http://www.milwaukeehdtv.org/ubb/smile.gif
