Just bought a cheapo widscreen TV for the bedroom. Hooked up to just the cable. Here in Big Bend we don't need a box uless we want premium or digital etc. The TV instructions ask if I want to set the setup menu to cable...HRC...or IRC..........so what do I want to do here.
Thanx
as always

For QAM Cable Channel searches...... There are 3 channel
sequencing groups depending on the Cable Co's Equipment setup.
They are STD (Standard), HRC (Harmonic), & IRC (Incremental).
All cable Company scans that I have done on T-151 & T-451 QAM
Cable tuner units have been in the Standard Mode....
The mode/group just predefines the internal frequencies used on the
copper coax wire.
