WTMJ HD audio sync problems on D*

On channel 4 HD on D* the audio has been out of sync with the video for a while now. It is only like 0.5 seconds off, but it is noticable. I have a HR20 receiver and it is fine on 4.1 OTA.

Anyone else have this issue?

I was gonna post that in another thread... I have 2 HR20's and both of them are constantly out of synch on 4 via D*

DirecTV seems to have audio sync problem with their Mpeg-4 channels. I think they are still trying to work the kinks out.

I was going to post about sync issues last week, but it seems that they are having issues everywhere with the MP4 channels...I figure that I will wait a while more. In the meantime I changed over to component outputs, and the issue is not existent on my end. I have heard it has something to do with the encoding through HDMI...

If there are audio sync problems with some channels, some more recently manufactured Audio Video Receivers (if it is available on your AVR) offer an audio sync adjustment, so maybe that will assist in the meantime.;)

I also tried that sync option with my Onkyo, but it is just a time setting...so going back to another channel that does not have the problem, thus creates the problem again. I may be calling this week to get something taken off my bill...as nice as it may be to have all these HD channels, if I cant enjoy them, it doesn't mean all that much.
