Best OTA tuner available locally?

Hey all, just looking to get into the game here. I have a really nice 24" Sony widescreen monitor I'd like to use as my bedroom HDTV, but I don't see many OTA tuners available locally. All I've found is the Humax HFA100, which gets some good reviews, but I guess I'd like a choice.

Where can I go to pick up/look at a nice OTA tuner? I live sw side of Milwaukee, and have second floor windows facing North, with an unobstructed NW view towards the towers (about 10-12 miles away). My normal analog is pretty good with the exception of WMLW with just rabbit ears on my regular tv in the living room (townhouse does not allow outside antennas & I refuse to give TWC any of my money :wave: ).

Suggestions, people?

I found that Circuit City had the best selection of HDTV tuners. The last time I checked they had three. That may have been a year ago.

I live in Franklin, 1 block from Hales Corners. So my situation should be quite close to yours. I recently bought a Samsung SIR-T451 tuner from Amazon.com. Setup was easy and reception is excellent, though I had to invest in an outside antenna. Originally I tried a Radio Shack DA-5200 powered antenna. I could not get good reception across all of the OTA channels. If 36 came in good, then 12 would pixelate. If I turned the antenna a bit, 12 would improve but 36 would breakup.

Now I bought a ChannelMaster StealthTenna from Marmax in Franklin. I get excellent OTA reception across all of the HD channels.

So my lesson was that the antenna was as important as the tuner.

Amazon has now discontinued the Samsung SIR-T451, but you could probably find one elsewhere on the Internet. I paid less than $200 for mine.
