I just got my Media Center PC and a brand new SA3250HD box married through a firewire port and I must say this is a pretty neat workaround for recording HD. I was running analog cable and an ATSC tuner, but in the city I got crap recption on any antenna I tried. This works pretty well. Not as seamless as a CableCard PCI card would be, but I'll be around for that and Vista. ;)
For those who do this as well, what stations will I not be able to record off of? I assume HBOHD and INHD for starters. Are there any channels that have 5C on specific programs?
