Was looking at replacing one of my standard recievers with a TIVO unit. Best Buy has the buy one for $100 and get a $100 rebate. I think you need a copy of your bill showing the Tivo service fee to get the rebate. Does anyone know for sure? Was going to hook it up myself with just one line.

You have to call DTV to activate the receiver. Once that is done they will send you the rebate from with your next bill. You need a copy of the receipt and the actual UPC code from the original box.

I just sent my rebate in. Nothing wrong with free!
