For those of you west and SW of Milwaukee...
WMTV-DT in Madison has "shared" channel 19 with a low-power analog station in Janesville for the last 18 months. The LPTV finally was shut down on Monday, and Janesville viewers are reporting decent reception of us.
I'm looking for viewers in Rock, Walworth, and Jefferson Counties (even Waukesha) who can give me a list of signal numbers of all the Madison stations on their receivers, now that the interference is gone. Oh, and if you actually get a picture and sound on WMTV-DT, that's a plus!
Thanks...

Tom,
I get picture and sound on all of the following out here in Waukesha County. The signal numbers as listed by my DTC-100:
WISC-DT 76 (Solid)
WMTV-DT 64 (Solid)
WHA-DT 88-91 (Jumps around a bit)
WKOW-DT 76 (Solid)
WMSN-DT 64-70 (Jumps around a bit)
I am using a Winegard PR9032 (35 element, 114") antenna for UHF and a Winegard PR-5030 (17 element, 119") antenna for VHF. I also use a winegard AP8700 preamp. The antennas are about 25' off the ground.

WMTV-DT 0
WHA-DT 91 (Solid)
WKOW-DT 88 (Solid)
WMSN-DT 0

From 4 miles north of Hwy 16 and 83 I get the following with a 40 foot Winegard on a rotor:
WISC - Solid 80
WMSN - Solid 70
WMTV - Solid 76
WKOW - Solid 88
This is on RCA F38310 (actually a DCT 100)

From kjarnold:
WISC - Solid 80
WMSN - Solid 70
WMTV - Solid 76
WKOW - Solid 88
Thanks guys...are the signal levels essentially the same as it was before November 11th? We haven't changed anything on our end, just curious if the co-channel analog made any difference when they were there.

I believe I had a 58 the week before. During the summer I normally was getting numbers in the 40's and I had a lot of drop outs. Now that the leaves have fallen I have seen a good improvement in WMTV-DT and WHA-DT. The others have been pretty constant.
