8300HD Slow to Change Channels

Has anyone else had problems recently changing channels on the 8300HD? For the last week or so we have had 2-3 second delays when going from one to channel to another.

I really don't want to get a new box and lose all of my saved recordings again.

When I hit the new PPV HD channels, my box slows down too. Try rebooting.

I have yet to visit the HD PPV channels and have also tried to reboot a few times.

Update: I was cleaning up my list of saved shows last night and deleted quite a bit of HD content and all of a sudden the channel changing speed has greatly improved.

Why would one have anything to do with the other?
