I'm not sure what's going on at WITI. :Smash:
Since day one of my new HD Setup I've had rock solid picture and sound. No dropouts, pixelation etc.
In the last week, I've had both. (the timing is bad, VERy bad)
On tuesday night, I had pixelation and a really irritating intermittent sound "distortion".
For grins I flipped to DTV 88 and found none of the above. Leading to me to believe it was a problem originating locally.
I don't watch much Fox other than American Idol  and the NFL.
So, what's up Fox 6?

I thought one of the big things with Fox HD, was that local stations didn't have to flip a switch for HD programming?

That's what I thought. However, no other O&O stations appeared to have had this issue last night. Looks like WITI is in the works for screwing up a second Pats Superbowl in 4 years.

Well, the only consolation for us DTV customers is Channel 88 if WITI can't get it right.

Since i upgraded all my gear, I haven't been able to get 6-1 WITI over the air, even though I can actually see their tower from the second floor of my North Shore home, and the other channels come in at 90+.
I'd be really unhappy if I didn't have Fox East (ch 88) from D*, especially with the Super Bowl coming up.
But, I've just concluded that WITI will eventually be dragged kicking and screaming into the new world, and my complaining about it will do no good at all. I feel sorry for all the people who will miss the game in high def., though.
