Here I was with a new Sharp LCD, a new HD 10-250 Tivo and a new HDMI cavle between the two boxes. Component TV worked, but neither HDMI nor HDMI to DVI worked.
I borrowed a progressive scan DVD player with DVI output -- it worked. So, after a few calls to D*'s tech. support people, one of them finally arranged for a no-charge replacement. I installed it today, and it worked. 100% HDMI and HDMI to DVI. So, the first Tivo was dead on arrival, and I'm lots happier, now.
