Hi All,

Talked the wife in to switching to D* from Charter when we move this spring to the new house. Have been a D* customer before, however not their HD pack. Sold all my old equipment on Ebay. Looking to buy HD receiver, dish, and any other items that I may need to get things going. I am looking for suggestions on the low end range for a Receiver. I have an off air Sammy 151 right now, have been happy with it, so I am leaning towards a Sammy TS360, but am also considering a Hughes HD receiver, Recommendations....?

Stay away from Samsung for now. There are still some problems with them. Go with LG/Hughes/zenith.

What problems? I've had two 360's and one 160 - they worked great.

Goto the AVS forum and start reading. People are having more problems with them than anything else.

I had the model before the 360 and it keeps locking up on me. Most people seem to get their problem solved with a replacement unit. It's a fine choice if one likes to play lottery with Samsung's quality control.

The good thing about Samsung is that they will fixed your problem. If you don't might the down time.

The Samsung 360 has audio sync issues with espn hd. I switched to the RCA DTC210 and it rocks
