I rule. My friend has an RCA Scenium 65" wide screen tv. This tv has a D* and an OTA tuner built in. These tuners are HD decoders as well. The problem is that he doesnt have anything he needs to view HD. I called up D* and said I was him (as a favor cuz he is not a well spoken fellow). I said I was switching to TW cable for HD reasons. Here is what I was able to get him from D*.

-Free 3 LNB oval dish
-Free installation of that dish
-Free HD package for 6 months
-Free Showtime for 6 months
-HBO for $2 a month for 6 months
-A $75 bill credit for a good OTA antenna

Thats about $550 worth of stuff. I rule. :guitar:

Thats cool. I did the same thing, but I didn't need the antenna. I got the receiver for $100. D* will work with you to keep you as a customer.

I did as well for my personal system. D* gave me my samsung box and an ota antenna with installation for $100 after rebates. I love D*. I also found out that they will give you special deals about every 6 months if you ask for them. Askin aint stealin.
