Hello,

I just purchased a new JVC HD-61Z85 yesterday, but it will not be arriving until around 9/20. The store I bought it from did not have much in the way of black stands though. I want black since the TV is entirely black. I tentatively have the only black stand they had coming, but it was pretty pricey... Here is a link to it: http://www.racksandstands.com/prods/BDI/Vector-9527/0PBD1030.htm

Where is a good place in the area to look for TV stands? In particular, has anyone seen this stand anywhere locally? http://www.everythingfurniture.com/plasma-tv-stand-8.html

Thanks!

Haven't found anything at Colders, American, Best Buy or Circuit City... Does Flanners have a decent variety of stands? Any other stores I'm missing?

This is going to be a huge issue as we progress from CRT to LCD, DLP, or Plasma. I wound up buying the matching stand for my Hitachi 60V500 and begrudgingly paid the $250 price. Flanners does have a stand that is all black with a glass top. I saw it a month ago when I was doing the exact thing that you are now. I think it was like $800 though

I saw a stand just like the one you are looking at but it was silver and glass for around $220 at Steinhafels in Waukesha last weekend.
