Panasonic TU-HDS20

I'm using the Panny for OTA and DirecTV. Anyone else ?? I don't get guide data from 58 on their digital side and was wondering if there was a problem with my receiver.

I do get 4-1 and 10-1,2,3,4 ...

Ideas ?

I don't get any guide data on any of the OTA stations now. I used to when I had my zip code entered in the Antenna setup. However, that seemed to cause several problems one being my inability to recieve nothing but a black screen from WTMJ-DT. I eventually removed my zip and I'm doing with out the guide data. But at least now, I'm receiving all of the local DTV broadcasts (after doing some other things besided removing my zip).

I've read your posts at AVS too, Steve. I'm glad you replied, I was hoping that you would.

I think that you and I are the only members of this group with the Panny.

Jim Hall mentioned in last weeks chat that he has one of our boxes in their HQ. Apparantly, the Panny has a problem with the type of guide data they are sending, or something ...

However, like I said.. I'm not getting guide data from any channels. I did get the data when I had my zip code entered. Dunno... with everything working currently, I'm reluctant to change anything again. http://www.milwaukeehdtv.org/ubb/biggrin.gif
