I have a dedicated Home Theater room I built in my basement in Oak Creek. What is your opinion of my success getting HD reception with a rabbit ear type antenna underground?

Probably a stupid question but I thought I would ask.

mcneguy;

I also have my HT in the basement. When I got my Channelmaster 4-bay last spring, I couldn't wait to try it, so I hooked it up next to the Mits and stuck it in a paint bucket. It worked - even from the basement!

My suggestion would be to pick up one of those ugly sets from Rat Shack and try it. If it doesn't work, they have a very liberal return policy. http://www.milwaukeehdtv.org/ubb/smile.gif

Here it is RS double bow-tie (http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F002%5F002%5F008%5F001&product%5Fid=15%2D623)
note: it's only UHF. However, plenty of mods available to increase signal(if it works for you) let me know if you need more info.
