I seem to have to enter my password every time I post. Is that a cookie issue?

If I didn't have to enter it more than once or twice, the random password feature wouldn't be so annoying. I have enough d**n passwords to remember as it is -- don't we all.

You can use the AutoComplete feature in the browser. Tools->Internet Options->Content->AutoComplete.

Still need to start typing the username, but then you get a dropdown. I only have to do it once per session, then it stays. I think a cookie would remember you each return visit, but not sure that it tracks any authentication.

The autotype only works on Internet Explorer.

Actually the board is supposed to remember your login and password for a year. The fact that it makes you type it in every time you come back after you've shut down your browser is an "undocumented feature." (You software guys will know that's a euphemism for a "bug").

It's on my list of things to fix/do.

Also do not forget that you can also change the random password to a more memorable one.

Do this by clicking on profile, to adjust your personal settings.
