They're counting multicast channels as HD. That is misrepresentation.
In my experience the quality of the multicast stations is less than standard def.
More letter writing time to complain@

If you rate the answer (I gave it 0%), if gives you the ability to give a reply to the answer.
I wrote this reply:
This answer is incorrect.
TW only offers five stations in the high definition format, not forteen. Your answer mistakenly classify multicast channels as high definition channels. Multicast channels are where a broadcaster squeeze two or more standard definition channels into the space of one high definition channel.
To classify a channel as high definition the channel must be broadcasting a resolution of 720 progressive (720p) or 1080 interlaced. The only stations that TW carries that meet this definition are:
500 HBO HDTV
501 Showtime HDTV
504 WTMJ HDTV
510 WMVS HDTV
512 WISN HDTV
All other stations listed on this answer are multicast stations that are transmitted at a resolution of 480 lines interlaced. In fact the digital compression used on these stations make the picture quality somewhat worse than a good standard definition channel.
Please update this answer as it clearly misrepresents Time Warner's true capability to offer high definition programming. Should you need to learn more about high definition and what your company truely offers, please take a browse at www.milwaukeeHDTV.org. (http://www.milwaukeeHDTV.org.) This is the best source of High Definition programming information in south east Wisconsin.

In response to my email to them (and others) they have now revised the question to correctly state 5 channels.
