Problems on WTMJ-DT

Watching WTMJ-DT on TW (504) the last couple of days, they seem to be suffering technical problems.

Last night ER was fine until the last quarter hour when they lost their picture. For a while I went back to the analog transmission then went back to the digital by which time they are reverted back to the SD version upconverted.

Also caught ED on Wednesday night and this was only in SD upconvert not HD. I thought ED was in HD. Am I wrong?

Wednesday NBC said they lost the HD uplink due to snow in New York. We were forced to switch back to the SD feed of Ed.
Thursday night NBC seemed to have the same problem, but we got no official word from them.
With the SD feed there is a backup feed. With HD there is only one feed.
