View Full Version : Confused on HD listing for PBS tonight?
I went to the MPTV website and checked out the HD page to see the HD listings for this month. Tonight is suppose to be one of their HD showcase shows at 8pm. However, when I go to complete listings page, it appears the HD show is going to be on channel 36, not 10. Since 36 is not transmitting in digital yet, it appears I'm not going to HD tonight on PBS.
Does anybody agree or disagree with this?
Thanks
Richard

You may be right but it may also be possible that they will be simulcasting the feed. Standard def on 36 and high def on 10-1. Just a possibility. Only the HD gods know for sure. http://www.milwaukeehdtv.org/ubb/smile.gif

Your right on the money about the "HD Gods"
I actually called the station and the person I talked to was less informed than I was about their programming and I've only had my HD tuner for two days and checked the MPS website for the first time only yesterday!!!!

I'm not sure where you saw that it was aired on channel 36. The correct location for the HD listings is http://www.mptv.org/main_listings.htm
From what I understand, there are only a handfull of people who handle the operation of the Digital channel. Most of the resources are used for analog TV. Plus viewer services is usually staffed by retired people.
titan tv claims hd programming on 10-1 everyday of the week.sorry it only happens maybe once a week.
