Great new show with James Caan. One funny thing though, the picture seemed to flutter frequently, especially on action stuff. Was this filmed in 24p? If so it was most distracting to see the strobe like effect.

I noticed the same thing. I thought the show was pretty good. I switched back to watching it off the dish. It started to bug me to much. I hope they get it fixed. Vegas is a show I plan to watch.

The Flutter or strobing we saw has nothing to do with 24p. It is a simple transmission error. I saw the same flutter on Discovery HD the other day.
So in the future, the show will most likely come in just great!

PS - I wish Vegas was shot 24p, It would be a cleaner image than the 35mm transfer.
