I took this survey, and last night I was invited to take another survey from them... a bit more in depth.

Keeping my fingers crossed that they'll be looking for Beta testers! :)

Anyone else get that follow up survey?

Nope :(

Guess that they do not consider me a good prospect...

From what I understand, the initial survey was to pre-select candidates to perform a more extensive survey with regards to what you would like in a HD Tivo.

Perhaps its because I already have a tivo, they do not preach to the quoir?

I completed the initial survey and was contacted to fill out a more detailed survey. Questions asked were regarding a/v equipment currently used, features that would be important to me in a hdtv DVR, from what source I get HD programming, ect...

I'm also keeping my fingers crossed that they may be selecting beta testers. I've been strongly considering purchasing a DVR, but the inability to record any hd has turned me off from the idea. This just may be my chance

I ended up taking both surveys. The second, more in depth survey had space for comments. I was sorely tempted to put in "just send me the damn hd test box now!" but managed to hold back. Nice to see them ahead of the curve.

I also completed both surveys. You're probably right Kerry, only future prospects got the second survey.

The last question on the second survey was, "My ideal HD TiVo DVR is:". What would you current Tivo/Replav users like to see besides the HD capabilities?

I was sent both surveys and I currently own two Tivos. I'm not sure what the selection criteria was, but I'm glad to see they at least seeking opinions. I was more than happy to share mine. The sooner the HD Tivo comes out, the better.
