Waivers

I checked the FCC search engine to see if any Milwaukee stations applied for waivers for the 5-1 deadline. Good news, I think. The only station to have applied and gotten a waiver was WVCY channel 30. I expected to find Channel 18, 24, and maybe 6 there but no listings. I assume this means they intend to meet the deadline. Quite a surprise especially for the anti HD Sinclair stations (18 & 24).

Here is a link to all the WI stations that filed extensions:

There are NO Milwaukee stations on this list. That tells me that they either are going to be ready by May OR they didn't have a clue that they were supposed to file by March 1. Hmmmmm.......

I don't think your link is going to work for folks, Matt. It doesn't work here. It refers to a perl script and the search criteria must be entered on the site so that it can be processed.

Folks would need to go to http://svartifoss2.fcc.gov/prod/cdbs/pubacc/prod/app_sear.htm and then enter Digital TV under 'Service', then choose CP Extension under 'Application Type' and then enter the state.
