I called channel 12 and spoke to the engineering department. They said that they plan to broadcast HDTV early fall. So that is kinda good news. Also....i asked if it will pass through time warner cables system. He said it is up to time warner and the reason why they dont have locals in hdtv is because they are not required to by law. So therefore...IM GETTING DIRECTV.
Plus with the dish netowrk merger, we will get a lot of hdtv channels.

Hmm.. Fall doesn't bode well for Sept. 1. &@#*@#$*&@%*&@#%!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish any of the station managers for non-DTV channels would give at least some update.. http://www.milwaukeehdtv.org/ubb/frown.gif

As for TWC, WISN is referring to must-carry. Right now I believe DTV signals are not covered under must-carry. Personally, with the robust nature of OTA (if you get a decent signal strength the picture/sound is always perfect), I could care less about TWC carriage.
