I finally got my refund from RCA for my DTC-100. So I rushed off to buy a new STB. I picked up a Zenith 420 for $329 (open box) at CC.
So far I've noticed that it has FAR better reception than the RCA ever had. The controls are simple too.
Overall its a solid 4 stars out of 5. I miss not having the guide data.
